Some students say English is difficult,and that it gives them a headache,so they can't learn it well.But English is not that difficult for me.In fact,I'm good at it.I'd like to share my ideas about how to study English well.
First,I think an interest in English is very important.When I was in Grade Seven,I had a new subject：English.It was so different from Chinese,and the words all sounded different and interesting.I started to work hard on it.Soon we had an English exam and I got a very good mark.I was so happy and I liked it ever more.Besides,our English teacher often teaches us English songs and makes the classes interesting.
Second,I always listen to the teacher very carefully and try to speak more in class One has to be very brave in order to speak and read aloud in class.I tried very hard first and now I feel quite comfortable when speaking in English.I also have a good habit：I ask whenever I have a question.My English teacher and other students are always glad to help,so my English also improves by raising questions.
Besides,I often read English stories,jokes and easy novels.From reading,I have found that English is not only a language to learn but also a culture to understand.The more I read the language,the better I become at it.Our English teacher sometimes asks us to do exercises after reading.This helps me remember the things I read.I often write English entries in my diary.Keeping a diary is also a good way to practice English writing.Sometimes I don't have much to write about,but I will still write down a few words in my diary because it has become a habit of mine.
